Barbara Elizabeth Morgan
August 30, 1947- May 31, 2015
Surrounded by loving family members, Barb passed peacefully on Sunday May 31st. Daughter of the late Mary (Thompson) and Burt Morgan, dear sister of Bob (Rachel), Marg Gartley (John), John (Sharon) and Kathy. Devoted aunt of David (Zana), Sarah (Kevin), Mary (Denis), Pamela (Jono), Amanda (Meagan), Katie (Adam) and Liz (Dominic). Great-aunt of Noah, Joshua, Charles, Alexandre, Sidney, Taylor, Elissa, Luke, Evan, and Emilie. Barbara leaves behind many lifelong friends from Ottawa and Go Home Bay who have given her great joy over the years. Retired teacher with the Ottawa-Carleton Board of Education for 35 years and real estate sales representative for 10 years. There will be no visitation as requested. Barb would also like to thank Dr. Sahira Charania and her team for their excellent care over many years, and much gratitude also to Lynne Weiss of GammaDynacare.
A memorial service will be held at St. Martin's Anglican Church, 2120 Prince Charles Road, Ottawa on Monday, June 15 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow.
